Originally a startup concept with a bike shop coworker, this prohect became a fully developed interactive campaign my junior year at the University of North Texas. "Wrenchcast" is devoted to connecting fully certified mechanics with bicycle enthusiasts in an effort to educate the cycling community in basic bicycle maintenance.
The campaign features a website that provides classes in which users can sign up for and participate via web chat. In addition to the website there is additionally an app concept in which users can call for help or recruit fellow Wrenchcast members to help with repairs and earn points towards cycling merchandise. Wrenchcast aims to provide a personalized experience to the online video tutorial.
